Legal Coaching [60 mins/$250 plus tax and disbursements]
Primarily done in video-conferenced sessions by the hour, we will collaborate with you to make a plan to resolve your legal matter and then help you execute it. More info
Consultation [free/20 mins]
In this 20-minute session, we will tell you more about legal coaching, what to expect and whether it is right for you. You will get a chance to talk briefly about your case and learn about your options (in order to assess whether legal coaching will be a good fit), but there is not enough time for in-depth legal advice. Like all our sessions, this will be a video-conference.
Summary Advice [40 mins/$150 plus tax and disbursements]
Perhaps you do not even know if you have a case, but there is a situation in your life that may or may not have a legal remedy. In this shorter session, we will discuss the situation, determine any legal framework that might apply and explore your options.
Unbundled Legal Services [a la carte price]
Please note, these prices are starting points only -- for longer or more complicated matters the price may be different. However, you will know the final price before the work begins.
- Uncontested divorce ($1900* w/ kids or $1400* w/o kids)
- Draft a contract that has already been negotiated ($250* and up based on length)
- Draft settlement agreement that has already been negotiated ($250* and up based on length)
- Draft an affidavit, statutory declaration from a written statement ($250* and up based on length)
- Researched opinion letter ($1000* and up based on complexity)
- Legal research and written report ($125/hour). Must book a coaching session to discuss the report and to strategize how to apply it to your case.

Legal Aid - Family Law Limited-Representation
As an alternative to paying for legal services yourself, you may qualify for legal aid. If you do not qualify for full-representation legal aid, you may still qualify for their limited-representation services. If so, legal aid would pay a lawyer for a limited number of hours doing a limited number of tasks to help you with a family law matter and the scope of services would be similar to the services we offer our private clients. We take on these contracts, therefore, you may request us from legal aid’s list of lawyers accepting new limited-representation clients.
